Spirits of the Past, Voices of the Future is a 360° virtual reality documentary that brings Native American storytelling to life through immersive scenes of myth, memory, and resilience. Developed with Fielding Graduate University and Ball State University, the project blends oral history, ceremony, and art to preserve Indigenous traditions while connecting with new generations. It also explores how immersive media deepens cultural memory, empathy, and engagement, bridging past, present, and future through story.

Rosa Parks Taking a Stand, an educational VR experience. On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, a Black woman named Rosa Parks got on a bus, and the rest, as they say, is history through the eyes of Rosa Parks. See the discrimination firsthand. A virtual reality experience through the lens of historical empathy tests the ability of an immersive, interactive simulation to induce a transformative learning experience and reduce implicit racial bias. A 3D, 360-degree, live-action video production telling the story through the eyes and perspective of Rosa Parks herself. Previous research has proven that the ability of virtual reality experiences to "take a walk in someone else's shoes" creates empathy. Subsequent research will attempt to advance the existing studies.
